True Identity: Traps of Blessings and Burdens

Both blessings and burdens can pull our identity away from God if we’re not careful. The Israelites used their gold, a gift from God, to craft a golden calf, letting fear and impatience drive them into idolatry. In our own lives, we face similar temptations: using blessings to build up our image or letting struggles pull us away from God. This message calls us to examine whether our identity rests in God or in what we can see, feel, or control.
