Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give Online

Complete the box to the right, or use the App to give online.  Follow the prompts to set up a one time or recurring gift.

Give In Person

Complete a pew envelope with your giving number and specify your type of contribution (see below).  Enclose your check or cash in the envelope and drop in one of our boxes on the back wall of the auditorium or in the foyer.  (Please contact the front office for your giving number)

YOU MAY DESIGNATE A CONTRIBUTION TO:
1) Regular Contribution - approved church budget
2) Family Care - helping those in our church family who find themselves in a
temporary financial crisis
3) Missions - predominantly funds our mission trips to Nicaragua
4) Special Event Contributions: disaster relief, student scholarships, etc.

Mail A Check

Please mail a check with your giving number and preferably with a pew envelope to the church office.  Pew envelopes can be picked up at the back of the auditorium on the credenzas or may be mailed to you by contacting the church office at bookkeeper@sjcc.us.

FAQ'S

What is a giving number?
A giving number is needed in order to have your contributions tracked for personal tax reporting purposes. Contact our Financial Associate to be assigned a unique giving number. Giving numbers can be assigned per family or if you prefer, per individual.

How do I set up making contributions using personal online banking?
You can submit automatic weekly, biweekly, monthly or occasional special contributions through your bank’s free online bill payment service. Your bank sends SJCC the payment, which will be recorded towards your giving records just as if you had written the check yourself. For the church, this is the most cost effective way to contribute electronically, as no fees are involved.

I would like to have my contributions tracked for tax reporting purposes. Is there anything I need to do to set this up?
YES. It is necessary that you use your giving number in order to have your contributions tracked by our Financial Associate for personal tax reporting purposes.

How do I access or download my year end giving statement or see my giving history?
You are able to see your complete giving history by logging in to your account in our online community (CCB). (We have also referred to this account as your website account.)
