Drop the Net

 Before we hear the Sermon on the Mount, we need to understand the moment that set it all in motion; the call. Jesus didn’t find His disciples in the synagogue, but on the shoreline, in the middle of their everyday lives. Why did they follow? Why would anyone leave everything to follow someone they barely know? It wasn’t just about miracles or doctrine. It was about presence, reality, and trust. This message explores the invitation Jesus gives to each of us and the courage it takes to drop our nets.
