At His Feet: The Better Thing

 So many of us want to move forward, to do something for God, to be productive. But what if we’re trying to carve before we’ve even seen? What if, in all our doing, we’re missing the most important thing—Jesus Himself? Before we act, we must first abide. Before we move, we must first see. Jesus told Martha that Mary had chosen “the better thing”—sitting at His feet. What does it mean for us to do the same?
